FAQ

How do I unlock the Lost Lace fight?
She is the final boss of Act 3: unlock the act via the Silk and Soul wish, collect three Old Hearts (Karmelita, Nyleth, Khann — or the Conjoined Heart substitute), dive into the Void at the bottom of the Abyss with the Everbloom, and enter Grand Mother Silk's cocoon.
What ending does Lost Lace give?
The Sister of the Void ending — Silksong's true ending — where Hornet carries Lace's purified body out of the cocoon using Grand Mother Silk's last strength.
Why does Lost Lace keep blocking my hits?
That's Parry & Riposte: after her attacks she holds a guard stance, and hitting it triggers a retaliatory flurry. Bait the lunge or tendril attacks, dodge, then punish — never swing into the held pin.
Is Lost Lace harder than Grand Mother Silk?
Generally yes — 1800 HP, faster combos, parries, and void hazards that stack as the fight escalates. She is the finale of the hidden act, so expect a long, demanding duel.

Lost Lace is what the Abyss does to a person: Hornet’s rival, hollowed out and worn by the Void, at the bottom of everything. She’s the final boss of Act 3 — the fight that earns Silksong’s true ending, Sister of the Void.

Where is the Lost Lace fight?

At the absolute bottom of the Abyss. After the three Old Hearts open the path down, Hornet uses the Everbloom to dive into the Void itself and lands inside the silken cocoon where Grand Mother Silk hangs nearly drained. Lace erupts out of the Void before Hornet can finish anything.

How does the fight escalate?

1800 HP, four phases. Her early kit is an evolved version of the Lace you fought twice before — lunges, the Balestra jump-slash, Lashing Lunge charges that drag void tendrils out of the floor — plus two nasty tricks:

  • Dive. Between attacks she melts into the void floor and erupts near you — on the ground or straight into an aerial attack.
  • Parry & Riposte. After most attacks she holds her pin in guard. Hit the stance and she answers with a point-blank flurry or a teleporting counter. Patience is the whole fight.

Phase 2 (~1349 HP) adds Void Columns — four tendril pillars erupting from telegraphed rumble spots — plus homing Void Projectiles and Void Blobs that burst into delayed slashes. She laughs when it starts. The arena floor is a suggestion by the end.

What’s the winning strategy?

Fight her like a duel, not a brawl:

  1. Never mash into the guard. Her riposte is the single biggest damage dealer in the fight — make her whiff a lunge, then take two hits maximum and back off.
  2. Track the floor, not her. Void Columns telegraph with particles a beat before erupting; walking beats dashing.
  3. Spend silk on Bind early. Four phases is a marathon; treat your spool as a resource cycle, not an emergency button. If you need a refresher on the economy, the beginner guide covers the bind loop.

What do I get for winning?

The Sister of the Void ending — Hornet lifts Lace’s purified body, borrows the last of Grand Mother Silk’s strength, and Silk Soars out of the dark. That’s the end of Pharloom’s story until Sea of Sorrow arrives in 2026.
